Starting in January, 5th and 6th graders at Ishpeming Middle School participate in Partridge Creek Farm's Healthy Cooking Program. However, we are missing a crucial ingredient this year - and that's you! The students are reliant on your help to ensure the Healthy Cooking Program's continuity.
At Partridge Creek Farm we offer 20 weeks of Farm to School Programming for all 5th and 6th graders at Ishpeming Middle School, where they get hands on garden experience in the PCF School Garden, and learn about food nutrition and agriculture. The students get to cook and eat the food they grow during 8 weeks of in-school healthy cooking classes.
With your support Partridge Creek Farm can continue to impact these students in positive ways with hands on learning, more time outside, more growing fresh vegetables, more healthy cooking and more students trying vegetables they wouldn't have tried otherwise.
